Hesper Jones, Owner

Certified Reiki Master

In 1996, Hesper graduated from the Fingerlakes School of Massage in Ithaca, NY where she received her degree in therapeutic massage. She obtained her license to practice massage therapy in the State of New York and the State of North Carolina. Before pursuing her degree in therapeutic massage, Hesper received an associates degree with a focus on anatomy, physiology and psychology. She has been a full time massage therapist for 30 years and has worked with physical therapists, medical doctors, and chiropractors throughout her career. 

Hesper has helped to alleviate pain associated with many conditions such as fibromyalgia, arthritis, degenerative disc disease, tendinitis, plantar fasciitis, tension and migraine headaches, whiplash, low back pain, neck pain, spondylosis, and sciatica.

In addition, she also regularly attends continuing education classes, seminars, and training to keep up with the growing and changing field of massage therapy so that she can provide her clients with the best massage experience. 

Her hobbies include gardening, walking/ hiking/ sightseeing in the mountains, state parks and lakes, nature photography, and spending time with her rescued dogs and cats.

Marielle Angell

Marielle has been a Licensed Massage Therapist since early 2019. She graduated from the Center for Massage & Natural Health in Asheville, NC where she continued to work in the clinic to expand her training on Myofascial Release techniques, as well as Neuromuscular Trigger Point Therapy, and other massage modalities.  

She is Reiki 2 certified and specializes in Integrative Massage Therapy and Clinical Bodywork. She also practices Craniosacral Therapy. 

She has a background in working with stroke survivors and individuals with acquired and traumatic brain injury, as well as terminally ill patients. She also has a background in working with individuals on the Autism Spectrum. 

She holds an MS in Sustainability Studies and a BA in Sociology and Anthropology from UNC Asheville.  

Marielle is originally from the Vale, NC area and spent much of her childhood in Morganton. She has lived in the Asheville area for around 26 years and is returning to the Morganton/Vale area with her family this winter. 

She is excited to return to the community.

Susanne Twenty

Susanne specializes in customized massage designed to relieve pain, reduce stress, and restore balance. With a skillful blend of deep tissue, Myotascial Release, and Trigger Point techniques, she works to release tension, melt away knots, and improve range of motion.

If relaxation is your priority, Susanne will tailor the pressure to your comfort level, creating a calming and restorative experience. Her goal is to ensure every client feels cared for, comfortable, and confident that this is time truly well spent on self-care.

  

Jenna Brittain, Certified Assisted Lymphatic Therapist

”I was born and raised in Morganton, NC. I graduated high school from Burke Middle College in 2013. In 2016 I graduated from UNCG with a bachelor’s in kinesiology. 

I always knew I wanted to learn more about the body with a holistic approach. I was a corrective therapist for 3 years before learning assisted lymphatic therapy. 

I enjoy being outdoors, traveling when I can and enjoying the gym in my down time.”
